This is the first issue of the free-press of trends and art which we have also designed logo and communication. GRAB is a magazine based in Rome, free distributed in specialized places (concerts, galleries, libraries, …) is here in town and in Florence, Bologna, Milan and in many other European cities. Much of the content are bi-lingual, Italian and English. Contribute to the contacts and the drawing for a good part of the contents of this issue as the previous one, both of which care about Art direction and layout; now the magazine lives of their own life and we are no longer responsible.

48 pages, the size of an A4 horizontal to be easily rolled up and stuck in the back pocket of jeans. Particular care into indexing and visual identity  (signs, style, iconography) built from scratch for each issue but that looks increasingly to the image that we designed for GRAB and a graphic design of grids and typography of the pages that has the task of holding together and unify the project as a whole.

Among the key features? Almost every visual content is shown but also used to contaminate the layout. On the first number: Shin Tanaka, Marco Cibola, Fudge Factory comics, Bongout, Pleix, Melbourne Stencil Graffiti, Natalie Zwillinger and many, many others. The cover is a remix of the work of Shin Tanaka.
